Manager- Marketing and Partnerships Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing commu-
nications plans and related budgets
• Hire, train, and manage marketing and support teams and support recruitment
and account management, providing tools for successful sales growth
• Manage brand development with an experiential understanding of both B2B and
B2C marketing
• Lead creative design and copywriting for digital and print assets, as well as inter-

Community Outreach Specialist Full Time

Drive, Excel, Canva, Monday, Adobe, Salesforce and Mailchimp are an asset. Previous
experience in the Black community and community outreach is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a calendar of outreach activities including community events, workshops,
appearances, and other communication opportunities with assigned communities
Creating and nurturing relationships with collaborative partners within assigned communities
Search for opportunities and schedule regular outreach exhibitions and site visits with
businesses in the community
Play an integral role in the development and organization of engagement initiatives,
including exhibitions, special events, tradeshows, site visits with organizations, business-to-
business/door-to-door, and other promotional efforts
Assist in the marketing, planning, and execution of related projects to increase brand
awareness in the community
Lead generation: perform outreach initiatives over the phone/zoom to inform potential clients
of our programs, and encourage them to apply
Ensure outreach projects and initiatives align with overall marketing strategy
Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to achieve overall department goals
Aid in the development and production of communications, correspondence, promotional
materials including online marketing tools, brochures, handouts, flyers, media ads, and
reports for outreach purposes

Project Coordinator

organization that is at the forefront of driving social and economic inclusion in Canada,
including by helping to promote inclusivity in Canada of the Black Community. DLF is
most recognized for it’s programs and partnerships with other leading organizations.
DLF’s areas of impact are in cultural identity, research, health, housing, education and
economic empowerment. As a non-profit that seeks to drive value, DLF continues to

empowerment by enhancing its suite of resources, programs and services.
DLF seeks a Project Coordinator description to support its activities. This is a unique
opportunity to be part of a tech-driven and black-led team.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator is the primary point-person responsible for coordinating,
executing, and implementing tasks to help the project manager deliver the project, on
time and within budget. To achieve these important goals, the Project Coordinator will
work with the project manager, understand the project requirements and scope, and
work with the project resources to ensure success fo the project. The Project
Coordinator will work directly with the DLF Executive Director and managers. You are a
bright, ambitious, extroverted individual who can help us take our project efforts to the
next level! To be successful in this role, you should have experience creating
customized interactions to increase engagement with members of the local and national
Black community, government, corporations, stakeholders and a personable approach
to building relationships and the ability to think outside of the standard to provide
maximum exposure of DLF in the community. Experience with Microsoft Teams,
Sharepoint Drive, Excel, Canva, Communciations, Monday, Adobe, Salesforce and
Mailchimp are an asset. Previous experience in the Black Community is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and nurturing relationships with collaborative partners within

● Track and monitor metrics/evaluations related to program
Coordinate scheduling and delivery of events, workshops, consultations that are
in accordance with program
● Provide, create surveys, metrics and feedback reports
● Contribute to project planning for program
● Coordinate tasks related to the project, ranging from planning initiatives to tactical
activities with project Manager
● Help meet milestones, and deliverables throughout lifecycle, including partnerships,
program participants, documentation, measurements, and other factors necessary for
success
● Organize program participants into suitable responsibilities and guide them
throughout their efforts to produce deliverables according to specification
● Establish and deliver mechanisms for tracking progress of program participants and
reporting to stakeholders via a formal communications plan
● Conduct regular meetings with Program participants in order to solicit feedback,
input, and expectations; incorporate these into tasks
● Produce regular reports (status, escalations, etc.) on the progress of program
participants; deliver these reports during regular stakeholder meetings
● Create and set tasks, activities for the program participants to regularly engage in
● Create powerpoint presentations, professional emails, proposal decks to distribute
and present to stakeholders
● Research grants and other institutions offering funding

About the Role
We’re searching for a highly-skilled project manager to contribute to DLF’s growth and
ensure excellent project delivery. We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful
individual to lead the project team in the design and implementation of the Project. By
exercising their knowledge in service design, and project and change management, the
incumbent will apply a variety of methodologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure their
diverse and interdisciplinary project teams can successfully navigate ambiguity and
expedite decision making. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint Drive, Excel,
Canva, Monday, Adobe, Salesforce and Mailchimp are an asset. Previous experience
as a PM is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and supervise the development and implementation of Project(s) from
conception to finalization stage.
Provides input into and administers assigned budget, ensuring that expenditures are
controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations. Liaises with management
team accounting and administrative staff, as required.
● Be accountable for delivering projects on-time and on-budget while meeting a high
standard of quality and by delivering on the customer’s requirements.
● Supervise and hold accountable the Project Team including business development,
marketing, partnerships, outreach, financial and client management.
● Conduct research and develop a thorough understanding of the Project and related
requirements, analyze data and provide insightful reports and recommendations to
Senior Management.
● Ensure project records and CRM are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
● Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting
project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within the
project.
● Maintain expected level of quality assurance on all contract deliverables.
● Manage client relationships to ensure high-quality customer service is delivered.
● Detailed tracking and monitoring of the budget in conjunction with the Project Team.
● Resource and hire for the Project Team.
● On-board and manage all vendors and scope of work for contractors and consultants.
● Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and
maximize deliverable outputs.
● Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as
needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
● 2+ years of project management and related experience
● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
