Cultural Identity

There are around 200 million people identifying themselves as being of African descent who live in the Americas. Many millions more live in other parts of the world, outside of the African continent.

Afro-centricity permeates all of our initiatives, we seek to preserve the legacy of our ancestors and promote the rich cultural contributions of Black Canadians.

Our significant presence and contributions on this land predate the country of Canada by over 150 years.
