Advising and supporting members of the community who are looking for guidance and support when finding affordable housing, meaningful employment and reaching their entrepreneurship dreams (among other things) will undoubtedly make a mark not only in society, but also in the lives of those you mentor. You Can Share Best Practices

While there are myriad benefits for proteges, mentors are in the unique position to share their wealth of experience and guide up-and-comers in best practices and skills—such as problem-solving, business development and goal setting—that can take entire careers to refine.

We know you’re an expert in your field but learning from mentees can be reinvigorating. You’ll hear new thoughts, opinions, techniques and ideas, giving you an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.

Affordable Housing

Our team leverages experience in real estate development and property management to improve access to home ownership and housing affordability for equity deserving communities. We’ve partnered with developers, property managers and local organizations to support families that aim to build security, stability and equity in their own homes.

Entrepreneurship

We know entrepreneurs face hurdles when it comes to starting their businesses and securing investment. That’s why we’ve launched impactful programs, which aim to prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs in skilled trades, as well as Black innovation programs dedicated to accelerating your dreams.

Youth Employment

Ensuring equity deserving youth have ample opportunities when it comes to jobs and studying for their careers is one of our biggest areas of focus. We connect young marginalized people with opportunities where they can learn and grow, and act as a stepping stone to inspire interest in the skilled trades.

Research and Development

We are always learning. Our research programs are centred around culture, identity, experience in society and education—we want to ensure we help fill in the gaps and assist marginalized communities achieve success. The Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub is one of our key programs.
